Role Overview
The Electrical Engineer’s role is key to the building services team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering electrical design solutions, providing technical innovation, communicating design strategies to clients and to the wider project team, assisting graduates, and improving team performance.
The engineer will deliver electrical engineering services across a variety of sectors including commercial, industrial, healthcare, historic, educational, retail and leisure, and via traditional and design‑build routes.
Responsibilities
Provide electrical engineering services across multiple sectors and project types.
Communicate design strategies, support senior engineers, and develop junior and trainee engineers.
Qualifications and Attributes
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering, or currently studying toward a Level 6 qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in electrical building services engineering consultancy.
- Understanding of building services projects and design‑construction stages.
- Experience supporting senior engineers and contributing to development of junior and trainee engineers.
- Proficiency in Auto CAD, Amtech, Dialux and Relux; Revit experience beneficial.
