Founded in 1975, T &G Engineering in West Byfleet, Surrey is one of Europe’s foremost high precision subcontract machining companies serving and supporting worldwide customers in aerospace, automotive, pharmaceutical, medical, can tooling and special purpose machinery sectors. Technical knowledge and flexibility have allowed T &G Engineering to penetrate various market sectors. We are looking for a dynamic skilled Toolmaker to join our team of engineers.

Responsibilities:

  • Includes all aspects of Toolmaking: Manual Milling, Turning, Cylindrical, Rotary and Surface Grinding.
  • Use of measuring equipment to check components.
  • Working on highly complex components with a strict GD&T adherence and being compliance to technical documentation.
  • Maintaining quality and safety standards and ensuring tooling is stored in their correct locations.

Requirements:

  • An experienced Toolmaker with previous experience on manual machines.
  • The ability to read complex technical drawings with GD&T’s.
  • Good Organisational skills.
  • A passion for engineering and the appreciation and commitment to achieve our client’s requirements is essential.

  • Full time hours are 39 hours per week Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.00pm (1/2-hour lunch break) and Friday 7.30am to 2.30pm (No lunch break).
  • Overtime during the week and on Saturday’s are paid at time and a half.
  • Holiday entitlement is currently 23 days per annum plus English public/bank holidays.
  • Company pension scheme.
  • Our benefits package includes a private health care scheme which is subject to normal conditions for new employees.
