We are looking for a dynamic skilled CNC 5-Axis Millerto join our team of engineers. The role will involve programming, setting and operating CNC Milling machines.

Key Responsibilities: -

  • Includes all aspects of CNC Milling.
  • Programming, setting and operating our Okuma CNC 3 & 5 Axis Milling Machines.
  • Working on highly complex components with a strict GD&T adherence and being compliance to technical documentation.
  • Use of measuring equipment to check components to maintain our high-quality standards.
  • Work to health and safety and our housekeeping standards.

Requirements: -

  • Experience as a CNC Miller (programmer, Setter, Operator).
  • Previous experience machining complex components.
  • The ability to read complex technical drawings and apply GD&T where required.
  • Must have 5-Axis Milling experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where general helpfulness and flexibility are essential attributes for this role.
  • A passion for engineering and the appreciation and commitment to achieve our client’s requirements is essential.

What we Offer: -

  • Competitive hourly rate of pay depending on experience.
  • Clean, modern, air-conditioned workshop, free on-site Parking.
  • Stable long-term employment.
  • Full time hours are 39 hours per week Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.00pm (1/2-hour lunch break) and Friday 7.30am to 2.30pm (No lunch break).
  • Overtime during the week and on Saturday’s are paid at time and a half.
  • Holiday entitlement is currently 23 days per annum plus English public/bank holidays.
  • Company pension scheme.
  • Our benefits package includes a private health care scheme which is subject to normal conditions for new employees.
