Summary
We are seeking a number of dedicated Concrete Mixer Drivers to join our team in various concrete plants in Shropshire and Cheshire. Based in our operations, this role is vital in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of concrete to our clients, supporting our mission of quality and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Operate concrete mixer trucks safely and efficiently to deliver products to construction sites.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during transportation.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.
- Communicate effectively with site managers and team members.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials when necessary.
- Ensure timely pickups and deliveries to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driving license with appropriate endorsements.
- Proven experience operating concrete mixer trucks or similar heavy vehicles.
- Mechanical knowledge for basic troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Strong commitment to safety standards.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
