About the job

  • Daily operation of container filling/labelling machinery safely and efficiently to produce top quality products
  • Report and/or correct safety issues. Maintain proper safety conditions of equipment and surroundings
  • Perform quality inspections on materials and finished product. Quality checks to include, codes, seals and weights
  • Responsible for proper and accurate product/package/code changes
  • Perform all filling/labelling operator CIP duties and surface foaming with mechanical cleaning for all other areas in accordance with specified cleaning schedules
  • Perform simple preventative maintenance, i.e. clean, inspect, lubricate and tighten
  • Monitor equipment and process performance and correct /raise issues before they become problem

What you’ll need to be successful in the role

  • Good communicator with ability to understand instructions
  • Previous experience in an FMCG or related company
  • Food hygiene certificate
  • NVQ level 2 or equivalent is desirable to demonstrate basic level of vocational learning ability.
  • Experience of SAP process order management and automated data collection systems i.e. SCADA, OEE, SPC
