The purpose of the role is to coordinate and support the delivery of Transport for Wales' (Tf W) corporate and executive engagement events, ensuring effective planning, logistics and drafting communication for activities involving the Chair, CEO, Non-Executive Directors and Executive Leadership Team.
- Role responsibilities
- Supports the successful planning and delivery of high-profile corporate events by coordinating clear communication across teams and directorates, ensuring alignment, shared understanding, and effective execution to achieve organisational goals and minimise risk.
- Coordinate the logistics for multiple events at the same time by working under the guidance of the Senior Events and Visits Manager to ensure delivery against the Corporate Events and Engagement Plan.
- Support the Chair, Non-Executive Directors, CEO and the Executive Leadership Team to take part in high-profile meetings and events by sourcing and drafting a range of content to ensure representatives are well-briefed to champion Tf W to promote our expertise, values and successes.
- Maintain accurate and effective record keeping by working with colleagues across the business to understand progress/development of, and Tf W's position on, operational policy and other matters of interest to stakeholders managed by the team.
- Supports the delivery of team-led meetings and events by maintaining excellent organisation and prioritisation, ensuring activities run smoothly, deadlines are met, and a high standard of execution is consistently achieved.
