Are you a Library and Information Services professional passionate about literature searches, creating research bulletins, and managing journal subscriptions? A 12 months Part Time FTC opportunity awaits in Bristol, with significant remote working, for a Librarian, focused on delivering superb customer service. Ideal for library experts, this position offers collaboration within the Information Services team and other departments to provide exceptional service to the organisation and users.
Your role will include:
- Meeting the evidence-based information service needs of staff, subscribers, and other beneficiaries by providing a high-quality library and information service.
- Cataloguing, abstracting, and indexing material for the bibliographic database.
- Undertaking literature searches and dealing with other enquiries as required.
- Compiling and distributing weekly research round-up.
- Working with other members of the Information Services team and other departments to maintain and develop the Information Services pages of the websites.
- Participating in the decision-making processes of the Information Services team.
- Seeking feedback from users, staff, and other beneficiaries where possible and contributing to the development of Information Services to meet changing needs.
Minimum Bachelor Degree or equivalent in any subject with experience of library and information services, or an accredited first degree in library and information management required.
