Are you a Library and Information Services professional passionate about Literature searches, creating research bulletins, and managing journal subscriptions?
A permanent opportunity awaits in Bristol, with significant remote working, for a Librarian, focused on delivering superb customer service. Ideal for library experts, this position offers collaboration within the Information Services team and other departments to provide exceptional service to the organisation and users.
Working closely with your Library and Information colleagues, other members of the team, subscribers, organisation users and other beneficiaries, your job responsibilities will include:
β’ Meeting the information service needs of stakeholders by providing a high-quality Library and Information Service.
β’ Cataloguing, abstracting, and indexing material for the bibliographic database.
β’ Undertaking literature searches and dealing with other enquiries as required.
β’ Compiling and distributing weekly research round-up.
β’ Working with other members of the Information Services team and other departments to maintain and develop the Information Services pages of the websites.
β’ Help to contribute to the development of Information Services to meet changing needs
To be considered for the Librarian job vacancy, you should possess a Bachelor Degree or equivalent in any subject in addition to experience of library and information services, or hold an accredited degree in library and information management or Library and Information Studies.
A professionally qualified or experienced Librarian is required.
