Infrastructure Programme Assurance Manager Are you a versatile project professional with experience in undertaking a range of assurance activities across large and complex projects? Are you seeking a new opportunity to work across a multi-billion Portfolio of transport infrastructure projects across Greater Manchester? If so, we have the role for you. The Infrastructure Programme Assurance Manager Role You will lead the provision of an effective Assurance service providing independent assurance opinion to the Executive and Greater Manchester Combined Authority. Managing a small team to develop and deliver a range of assurance activities to support successful delivery of Projects. Day to day this will include developing & agreeing assurance plans, leading Gateway reviews, supporting team delivery and development and robust assurance reporting. For more info see job profile below. Who are we? Your role will sit within the Audit, Risk and Assurance team and reports into the Head of Risk and Assurance. We are a small supportive team that is great to work in, accredited as 2 star in our recent Best Companies staff survey. You will work with a range of colleagues at all levels across TfGM, GMCA and local authorities. Your work will make a real difference to support the successful delivery of a complex and technically diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects. This exciting portfolio includes cycling and walking infrastructure; new interchanges; light and heavy rail; bus route enhancements; and highways schemes. What we can offer you This is a permanent position in a well-established team, with a salary of £57,770 – £65,024 per annum depending on skills and experience You will be working closely with a range of specialists from different areas and organisations, with the varied workload helping you to further develop your skills, experience and knowledge.
