The Financial Accountant will deliver on the following key roles and responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update the IFRS16 database (Innervisions) on a monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Post monthly IFRS 16 journals in all ledgers across the group.
  • Update IFRS16 monthly notes in statutory format.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Key contact for the Group and any local audit teams, responsible for managing the overall process and ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Assist in preparing and updating any technical accounting memos.
  • Assist with the preparation of audit documentation and responding to audit queries.
  • Preparing statutory accounts for trading, dormant, and international entities.
  • Submit statutory accounts to Companies House across the group (UK).

To be successful in the role of Financial Accountant you will have the following skills and experience:

  • ACA or ACCA, ideally with experience in professional services.
  • Experience with IFRS and UK GAAP statutory accounts.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and influence stakeholders.
  • Pro-active, systematic and process driven, with the ability to multi-task with ease.
