We are looking for a Branch Merchandiser to join us on a permanent contract within our Hobbs brand. This opportunity will see you focus on managing our brand merchandising team and play an integral role in helping to shape our new ERP system to deliver continued stock efficiency. As Branch Merchandiser you will partner with our Heads of Retail, Web and Online Concessions to shape the stock strategy by channel for the season, working closely with the wider product merchandising team to help shape our buying strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Leading our overall branch strategy, feeding back to the Head of Merchandising to inform the topline business strategy
  • First point of contact for our new ERP system, attending meetings to ensure the new system can deliver better stock efficiency through improved allocation and replenishment
  • Supporting the Head of Merchandising with weekly, monthly and seasonal reporting and reviews
  • Driving regular professional development meetings with the branch team, ensuring the team are assured and empowered to take ownership of their own areas

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience within a Merchandiser role with proven commercial success on bricks and mortar portfolios as well as online and global (UK and international)
  • Demonstrated seasoned people‑management experience, managing effectively through a team of direct reports
  • Strong trading skills and excellent communication skills
  • Managerial experience with a keen focus on team development and empowerment
