Are you a highly analytical and proactive merchandiser looking for that next step in your career? At Hobbs we are looking for an Assistant Merchandiser to join us on a permanent contract, starting ASAP.
As the Assistant Merchandiser, you\’ll be a vital team member, playing a key role in amplifying how well our Hobbs range performs and ensuring a seamless flow of stock on our occasion department.
What you’ll do:
- Provide insight, reports and recommendations to optimise stock allocation and drive sales.
- Collaborate with the Merchandiser in the planning and support of merchandising strategies for the department.
- Assist with the range planning process, ensuring the right product is in the right place at the right time.
- Monitor and analyse the performance of new and best seller product, identifying trends by using data to make strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with various internal teams, including Buying, Retail Operations, and Logistics, to ensure efficient stock flow and communication.
- Proactively identify and resolve store-specific merchandising challenges.
Who you’ll be:
This opportunity would suit a Senior Merchandising Assistant and/or Assistant Merchandiser looking for that next step in their career. Your ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively manage multiple priorities will be key as we expand our footprint at Hobbs. Excellent organisational and time management skills gained in a similar merchandising role are required. As you\’ll also work closely with our internal teams, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment and utilise your commercial data skills to support and take initiative to ensure we are set up for success.
