We’re looking for an experienced Technical Delivery Manager with a deep background in development for ERPs and data platforms to help deliver our transformation and business change strategy. This is a standout opportunity to step into a high-impact role within a UK fashion retailer and be at the forefront of our technology transformation. You'll be joining us at a moment of major change, where you’ll be leading a development team, driving the delivery of critical platform and capability enhancements that keep us moving fast and innovating boldly. Who you’ll be:
- With extensive technical, delivery, communication and people management skills, you’re confident leading, managing and working with internal and off-shore technical teams, third parties and diverse stakeholders across the business.
- You can definitely translate tech for non-tech colleagues to influence deadlines and impact.
- Energised by change and passionate about delivery, you know the importance of business projects and ensure required project and changes are delivered to the required quality, scope and time.
What you’ll do:
- Own the design, development, and implementation of technical business changes ensuring delivery to time, quality and scope.
- Create business solutions aligned to the business architecture and tools.
- Manage the engineering team, ensuring development roadmaps are in line with resources and required timescales.
- Manage off-shore resources and third parties to ensure technical changes are delivered to time and scope.
- Work with and oversee business change management activities including training and guidance to end-users and stakeholders.
- Contribute to enterprise-wide transformation projects with global reach.
- Manage third parties’ relationships to ensure change delivery is aligned to resources and delivering business value.
- Work closely with technical teams and solution architects to ensure the chosen solution integrates seamlessly with the organization’s existing technology ecosystem, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across all channels.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience as a Delivery Manager (or similar) in a consumer-facing environment (retail, hospitality).
- Strong technical grounding in retail applications (Merchandising Applications, Finance System, e-commerce platforms, Reporting solutions).
- Experience with integration technologies (Azure).
- Background in owning technical end-to-end delivery of continual change and large-scale projects.
- Experience in working with and managing offshore teams and third-party vendors.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to engage directly with senior managers.
- Demonstrable experience managing multiple work streams, resources, dependencies, risks, and issues to ensure smooth delivery.
