Are you a highly analytical and detail‑oriented Junior Commercial Finance Analyst looking for the next step in your career? Reporting to the Senior Commercial Finance Manager, this role plays a key part in supporting the Finance team and wider business across two brands. You will contribute to weekly, monthly, and annual reporting, as well as budgeting, forecasting, and commercial analysis, helping drive decision‑making across retail and head‑office functions.
Who You'll Be
- A numerically strong and detail‑oriented analyst with a passion for turning data into insight
- Degree‑educated and/or working towards an accounting qualification
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- A confident communicator who can collaborate effectively with non‑finance stakeholders
- Proactive, curious, and eager to learn within a fast‑paced commercial environment
- Comfortable working with data and financial models, with solid Excel skills (e.g. pivots, lookups)
- Interested in retail and trading performance, with a commercial mindset
What You'll Do
- Support weekly and monthly trade reporting, analysing sales, margin, and stock performance
- Deliver variance analysis and partner with teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Provide retail and commercial insight, including store P&Ls, KPI tracking, and performance analysis
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term planning across multiple business areas
- Prepare and review overhead reports, accruals, and departmental budget tracking
- Contribute to group reporting, board packs, and key financial submissions
- Support ad‑hoc analysis, projects, and continuous improvement of reporting tools and processes
