About the Role: We’re looking for a skilled and analytical Power BI Engineer to join our growing Data & Analytics team. In this role, you’ll design and deliver impactful reporting solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the business. Working closely with commercial and operations teams, you’ll turn complex data into clear, actionable insights across sales, inventory, and customer behaviour. Retail experience is advantageous but not essential.

What you’ll do:

  • Translate stakeholder requirements into intuitive and actionable visual analytics.
  • Build and optimise semantic models, including measures, KPIs, hierarchies, and relationships within BI.
  • Write efficient DAX to support advanced calculations and time-based analysis.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to source, transform, and model data.
  • Implement best practices in governance, security, and performance optimisation.
  • Engage stakeholders to present insights and drive adoption of reporting solutions.

Who you’ll be:

  • An experienced Power BI professional with proven track record of building reports and dashboards.
  • Strong proficiency in DAX, with extensive SQL and data analysis skills.
  • Confident in semantic modelling, including building reusable datasets and defining KPIs.
  • Comfortable working with multiple data sources (e.g. SQL databases, Azure Synapse, Excel, APIs).
  • Familiarity with Power Query for data transformation and shaping.
  • A clear communicator who can translate complex data into meaningful business insights.
  • A self-starter who can manage priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines.
  • A critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills (retail experience is a plus).

What’s in it for you: It’s not just what you can do for us. We will give you the tools and the time to develop your career in the direction you want to go. Alongside that, we have some great benefits which include:

  • Generous colleague discount up to 70%.
  • Up to 28 days holiday entitlement per annum.
  • Financial and Wellbeing assistance.
  • Enhanced Maternity package.
  • Virtual GP service – unlimited access 24/7.

If you want to join us and create moments that matter, we’d love to hear from you.
