Driver Hire Leeds West are urgently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Driver for a temp-to-perm position with a well-established client in Leeds (LS19). Our customer is a well-established powder coating company who have been around for over 70 years.

  • Consistent 40 hours per week
  • Genuine permanent opportunity
  • Monday to Friday 6:00am - 5:00pm (40 hours per week)
  • Driving an 18T curtainside (automatic) vehicle
  • Up to 6 deliveries per day (often fewer)
  • Assisting with loading and securing the vehicle
  • Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • Full CPC and Digital Tacho Card
  • Confident driving an 18-tonne curtainside vehicle
  • Comfortable with an automatic HGV Wagon
  • Happy to muck in with handballing and general manual work
  • Able to commit to a full-time role
  • Forklift licence
  • Experience with loading and unloading
  • From £16.14 per hour (holiday pay included)
  • Permanent Salary of £30,168.00 after the temp to perm period
