As a PPC Manager, working within the sector’s niche, FCA regulated digital marketing space, you will be responsible for campaign management across search channels with the objective of maximising growth and profitability while meeting lead targets. Remote or office based working options depending on preference, with a minimum 4 days working in the Leeds office per month. 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday - standard working hours are 09:00 - 17:30 with flexibility to meet individual needs (16:00 Friday Finish).

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Testing and Optimisation
    • Monitor and remove negative keywords across Search channels for multiple brands
    • Create experiments in search channels to drive performance
    • Review of FLG CRM data in conjunction with online campaign data to calculate net ROAS, lead volumes, cost per lead and profitability and implement campaign optimisation decisions to drive performance
    • Proactively seek ways to improve campaign profitability through performance insights
    • Plan and implementation of A/B testing across various channels
  • Account and Campaign Management
    • Ensure all invoices are correct and sent to Finance on a monthly basis
    • Update campaign geo-targeting as and when required
    • Maintain channel change log with account level changes
    • Pausing and reactivation of campaigns/accounts as and when required
    • Use of Google Editor to make major campaign changes
    • Creation of digital assets for existing and new campaigns
    • Ensure that campaign lead targets are being met
    • Ensure that existing pixels and tags are firing correctly and implement new ones as and when required
  • Reporting
    • Update and maintain reports with online and offline data
    • Build out new reports to monitor campaign performance
  • Account Creation
    • Create new ad accounts for search channels as and when required both as stand-alone accounts as well as part of existing MCC structure
  • Competitor Monitoring
    • Use competitor and market insights to improve channel performance
  • Campaign Planning & Building
    • Plan and build out campaigns for both existing and new products within the existing and new vertical/s across all lead generation channels using where appropriate Google Keyword Planner and The Search Monitor
  • Compliance and Regulation
    • Ensure that all campaigns as well as accounts comply with any channel regulations, both external and internal
  • Relationship Management
    • Maintain the relationship with external account managers
  • Landing Page Management & Design
    • Design of new landing pages through Unbounce
    • Maintenance of existing landing pages
    • Updating of existing landing pages as well as FLG parameters used to pass lead data into FLG CRM
  • Emerging Technologies and Industry Updates
    • Keep up-to-date and share relevant developments in Digital Marketing and AI, analysing new opportunities to expand activity
    • Use of AI tools and features to enhance proficiency of day-to-day tasks and improve campaign performance

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Qualifications
    • Desirable: Relevant marketing diplomas/certifications/qualifications
    • Educated to Degree level in a related field
  • Experience
    • Essential: Minimum 2 years of experience managing Google Ads
    • Desirable: Experience with Social Ad platforms such as Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok, and Display platforms is desirable
    • Experience working for Finance/Pension related or FCA regulated companies
    • Experience working in lead generation or performance marketing settings
    • Experience running performance experiments with structured testing frameworks
    • Experience with landing page management, design and testing
