Summary
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Fire Door Maintenance Joiner to carry out repairs, and upgrades on fire doors to ensure compliance with current fire safety regulations and standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and performance of fire door assemblies in commercial and residential properties. For those joiners working in the on-site workshop; a hazardous environment with power tools, attention and focus on the work, personal safety and the safety of others around you, is imperative.
Role Responsibilities
- Maintain, and repair fire doors in accordance with current regulations and manufacturer specifications
- Install and upgrade fire door components including hinges, seals, closers, and glazing
- Carry out remedial works identified during fire door inspections
- Accurately complete job reports and compliance documentation
- Ensure all work meets relevant British Standards and fire safety legislation
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment at all times
- Communicate effectively with clients and site managers

Qualifications
- Educated to minimum NVQ level 2 or time-served
- Working knowledge of compliance and regulations associated with trade
- IT literate (PDA)
- Full UK driving licence
