Trade Operations Manager at Trilitech, contributing to the Tezos ecosystem.

The Role:

We are seeking a Trade Operations / Middle Office Manager to support the scaling of xU3O8 (tokenised physical uranium) and a growing suite of tokenised metals products. This role sits at the intersection of capital markets, commodities operations, and blockchain infrastructure. You will ensure the day-to-day operational integrity of our products while acting as a key interface between internal teams and external ecosystem partners, including brokers, storage providers, custodians, exchanges, market makers, and technology vendors. The role is execution-focused and externally facing, with clear ownership of trade lifecycle management, operational readiness, and partner coordination as products scale in volume, complexity, and geographic reach.

Our Team:

At Trilitech, we drive innovation in Web3 by empowering developers and creators to build pioneering solutions on the Tezos blockchain. Our expertise spans core blockchain development, decentralised applications, infrastructure tooling, developer experience, and incubation programs, with a strong focus on cultural projects, decentralised finance, and gaming. We’re dedicated to redefining possibilities and setting new standards within the rapidly evolving blockchain space.

The Technology:

Tezos is an open-source blockchain known for its flexibility, security, and unique self-evolving capabilities. With innovations like Etherlink —an EVM-compatible Layer 2—Tezos is scaling rapidly and attracting a growing developer community. Its ecosystem supports diverse projects, from Uranium.io, a decentralized marketplace for tokenized uranium, to leading digital art platforms like Objkt.com.

Who we’re looking for:

We’re looking for people who are proactive and resourceful — those who enjoy turning ideas into reality. You’ll have plenty of autonomy, and the chance to make a meaningful impact from day one. Bring your curiosity, energy, and determination, and you’ll play a key role in our growth journey. If you’re comfortable taking initiative, enjoy exploring new possibilities, and are passionate about RWAs and working in a fast-paced environment, you’ll feel right at home here.

What you’ll do:

  • Product & Trade Operations: Own the end-to-end operational workflow for xU3O8 and other metals products, from trade execution through settlement, token issuance, reconciliation, and reporting. Coordinate primary issuance, secondary market activity, and redemptions, ensuring alignment between on-chain activity and off-chain commodity flows. Monitor and resolve trade breaks, settlement exceptions, and reconciliation issues across fiat, commodity, and blockchain rails. Maintain accurate operational records across custody, storage, token supply, and inventory positions.
  • Ecosystem & Counterparty Management: Act as the primary day to day point of contact for external partners, including commodity brokers and dealers, storage and logistics providers, custodians and trustees, exchanges, venues, and liquidity providers, blockchain infrastructure and oracle partners. Ensure counterparties are operationally aligned with product specifications, SLAs, and scaling requirements. Support onboarding of new partners and assets as Metals.io expands into additional commodities.
  • Product Scaling & Readiness: Work closely with Product, Legal, Compliance, and Engineering to ensure products are operationally robust prior to launch. Help define and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new metals, jurisdictions, and distribution channels. Support product evolution (e.g. new settlement models, venues, or DeFi integrations) from an operational risk perspective.
  • Controls, Reporting & Governance: Implement and maintain operational controls across inventory, issuance, and settlement. Produce internal reporting covering trade volumes, token supply, inventory coverage, and counterparty exposure. Support audits, due diligence requests, and investor or partner reporting where required.

What you’ll need:

  • Extensive experience in middle office, product operations, or trade operations across capital markets (banks, asset managers, exchanges, prime brokers), and/or commodities trading, logistics, or structured products, and/or crypto or digital asset infrastructure, exchanges, funds, or tokenisation platforms.
  • Strong working knowledge of blockchain-based assets, including token issuance, wallets, custody models, on-chain settlement, and reconciliation with off-chain systems.
  • Hands-on experience managing the full trade lifecycle, including execution, settlement, reconciliation, and exception management.
  • Familiarity with commodities trade flows (physical and/or derivatives), and the roles of brokers, custodians, and storage providers.
  • Exposure to tokenised real-world assets (RWAs), stablecoins, or exchange infrastructure is highly desirable.
  • Confident in engaging with external counterparties in both technical and commercial environments professionally.
  • A structured problem-solver, comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and taking ownership of decisions, with strong attention to detail.
  • Highly organised, with excellent documentation skills and strong process discipline.

What you can expect from us:

  • Competitive salary with substantial incentive schemes.
  • Generous long-term incentive plan (LTIP) tez token scheme.
  • Hybrid working environment.
  • Daily lunch provided in-office.
  • Commuter costs reimbursement (up to £3,300 annually).
  • 20-day policy for working abroad.
  • 25 days paid holiday plus your birthday off.
  • Enhanced parental & adoption leave.
  • Pension contributions double matched (up to 10%).
  • Private medical insurance with Bupa.
  • Learning and development programs.
  • Life assurance (5x base salary).

Why You’ll Love It:

Join a fast-paced environment where you’ll lead impactful initiatives. You’ll have autonomy to deliver results, supported by passionate colleagues in a focused but fun environment. We value ambition, creativity, and continuous learning—providing the ideal setting for career growth.
