Tezlom are recruiting a Support Worker who can provide people with flexible packages of support and have experience working with substance abuse. The service can provide a variety of supported living arrangements, including: individual homes, shared supported houses and extra care services and within the community. As a Support Worker some of the duties will include: Developing domestic and life skills (house-keeping, shopping, cooking, cleaning, personal care etc.); Giving medication; Delivering excellent drug and alcohol services to service users and their significant others, including family members friends and carers, to facilitate positive outcomes. Managing a case load, coordinating, and delivered assessment and evidence-based interventions (brief and structured), recovery planning and aftercare planning. Managing their money, including paying bills; Support to attend college, work placements and other activities; Accompaniment to appointments; Socialising and meeting new people; Help accessing other services; Travel training; Keeping safe and healthy; and Filling out forms; and much more.
