You will provide therapeutic, emotional and practical support to service users, working alongside wider mental health teams to promote independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing person-centred emotional and practical support to individuals experiencing mental health difficulties.
- Supporting service users with their recovery journey and personal goals.
- Building positive and professional relationships with service users.
- Encouraging engagement with therapeutic activities, support plans and community resources.
- Providing reassurance and support during periods of distress or crisis.

Essential Requirements
- Previous experience working within mental health services, supported living, community support, crisis services or similar settings.
- Good understanding of mental health, recovery-focused support and safeguarding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm, patient and professional in challenging situations.
- Flexibility to work bank shifts, including weekdays, evenings, weekends and nights where required.
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable Requirements
- Degree or qualification in Psychology, Counselling, Mental Health Studies or a related subject.
- Experience supporting individuals with complex mental health needs.
- Knowledge or experience of therapeutic approaches and recovery-based interventions.
