Tezlom - Uxbridge, a successful Agency with a decade of experience in the Health and Social Care sector, is looking to recruit a Male Support Worker for a Residential home based in the West Drayton area of Uxbridge.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ability to support a range of people/young adults with different abilities.
- Provide constant care and support to the service users with complex mental health needs and learning disabilities.
- At least 2 years experience working with Mental Health Needs and learning disabilities.
- A desire to work with people who may show signs of challenging behaviour.
- Commit to working with Adults who may be at risk.
- Should be able to do shift work - Days/Nights/weekends.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Peg/tube feeding experience will be advantageous.
- Must have experience administering epilepsy medicine BUCCAL MIDAZOLAM.
- Must be able to obtain employment references covering the last 3 years of work history.
- Demonstrate expertise in person-centred care for young adults and elderly residents in a residential home setting.
- Have hands-on experience working with individuals having learning disabilities and a comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and regulations.
- A cleared DBS check and right to work in the UK.
