We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Care Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a well-established elderly, residential care home with a good rating, supporting 60 residents based in Hounslow, West London. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate leader who is committed to delivering outstanding person-centred care, maintaining high standards, and developing a motivated and professional care team. As Registered Care Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the home operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all relevant regulations while promoting a positive and supportive environment for residents, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strong leadership and management to the care home team.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the care home.
  • Ensure the highest standards of person-centred care are delivered at all times.
  • Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures.
  • Manage staffing, recruitment, training, supervision, and performance.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.

Essential Requirements

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or higher qualification).
  • Minimum 3 years' management or senior leadership experience within a residential care home setting.
  • Strong understanding of care regulations, safeguarding, and quality standards.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Ability to work flexibly and respond to operational needs.
  • Sound knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and care standards.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • A fully enhanced DBS either registered on the DBS update service or willing to do one.

Desirable

  • Experience managing a medium to large residential care service.
  • Experience preparing for and managing inspections.
  • Knowledge of budget management and occupancy growth.
