Are you a passionate and reliable Chef looking for flexible work? Tezlom is currently recruiting experienced Chefs to support nursing homes across West London on a bank (ad-hoc) basis.

The Role

You will be responsible for preparing nutritious, high-quality meals for residents in nursing and care homes, ensuring all dietary requirements and food safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals in line with care home standards and residents’ needs
  • Cater for special dietary requirements (e.g. soft diets, allergies, cultural needs)
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen
  • Follow all food safety and HACCP guidelines
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Chef (ideally in a care home, hospital, or similar setting)
  • Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above)
  • Knowledge of dietary requirements within healthcare settings
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
  • Reliable, flexible, and able to work bank shifts
