About the Role
Tezlom Homecare is looking for an experienced and ambitious Care Coordinator to take a leading role in managing and developing our domiciliary care division. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of the domiciliary care section, support its growth and development, and work towards becoming the CQC Registered Manager as the service expands.
Key Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day management and coordination of the domiciliary care section
- Manage and coordinate care packages, clients and care staff
- Prepare and manage staff rotas and ensure all care calls are appropriately covered
- Match carers to clients according to their individual needs and requirements
- Support the recruitment, onboarding and management of care staff
- Ensure care plans, risk assessments and service user records are accurate and regularly reviewed
- Maintain high standards of care delivery and customer service
- Deal with client, family and staff queries professionally and efficiently
- Support the growth of the domiciliary care business and actively work towards increasing the number of clients and care packages
- Build relationships with local professionals and identify opportunities for business development
- Support and prepare for CQC audits and inspections
- Ensure the domiciliary care service remains compliant with CQC regulations and requirements
- Monitor compliance, quality assurance and service standards
- Work closely with senior management to develop and grow the service
- Work towards becoming the CQC Registered Manager for the domiciliary care service
Essential Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working within domiciliary care, including significant care coordination experience
- Experience managing or coordinating a busy domiciliary care service
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations, compliance and quality standards
- Previous experience supporting CQC audits and inspections
- Experience with care planning, risk assessments and staff rotas
- Proven ability to support business growth and develop care services
- Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
- Ambitious and motivated to progress towards becoming a CQC Registered Manager
