Are you a passionate and reliable Chef looking for flexible work? Tezlom is currently recruiting experienced Chefs to support nursing homes across West London on a bank (ad‑hoc) basis.
The Role
You will be responsible for preparing nutritious, high‑quality meals for residents in nursing and care homes, ensuring all dietary requirements and food safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals in line with care home standards and residents' needs
- Cater for special dietary requirements (e.g. soft diets, allergies, cultural needs)
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen
- Follow all food safety and HACCP guidelines
- Work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Chef (ideally in a care home, hospital, or similar setting)
- Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above)
- Knowledge of dietary requirements within healthcare settings
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work bank shifts
