Tezlom is a trusted, well-established agency supplying exceptional Health and Social Care staff throughout West London. We are now welcoming applications for compassionate and motivated Mental Health Therapeutic Support Workers to support individuals in our community drop-in centre.

Your Role

As a Mental Health Therapeutic Support Worker, you will play an important part in supporting individuals who are experiencing emotional distress, anxiety, or crisis. You will help create a safe, calm, and welcoming environment where people can feel heard, supported, and empowered.

You Will Provide:

  • A safe and welcoming space for people in need
  • A supportive, non-judgemental listening ear
  • 1-to-1 emotional support, advice, and guidance
  • Support in developing personal safety plans
  • Help accessing local community and mental health services
  • A hot drink and snack for comfort and care
  • Team support in maintaining a drop-in crisis service

Group Activities You’ll Help Facilitate

Our centre offers a range of calming and connection-based activities, including:

  • Tea & Chat
  • Arts & Crafts Sessions
  • Mindfulness & Meditation

These activities help create community, stability, and wellbeing for those needing support.

What You Bring

  • Confidence using IT systems, databases, and Microsoft applications
  • Experience in Mental Health or Psychology (helplines, community support, or current study welcomed)
  • Ability to travel easily to West London
  • Availability for 14:00 – 22:00 shifts
