If you are an experienced Transport Manager and Supervisor, with a good track record and experience of managing drivers and fleets, then Tezlom have a fantastic opportunity for you. We are looking for a night Transport Supervisor to manage all night operations of a busy transport company, responsible for drivers, freight, a night office operations team and planning.
Roles Include:
- Driver and team performance management, including ensuring the shift meet KPIs.
- Operational and resource planning.
- O licence conformance and legal compliance.
- Ensure Health and Safety standards are strictly adhered to.
- Support Contract Manager with driver recruitment, arrange inductions and driver re-training where required.
- Support Contract Manager with ongoing investigations.
- Deal with regular customer interaction.
- Shift reporting and operational handovers.
This is a skilled role requiring operational expertise and excellent communication and will be a 4 on, 4 off shift rota 19:00 to 07:00 (12 hour shifts) based in Burtonwood.

About You:
- Proven experience managing drivers, ideally in large scale retail operations.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure in a time critical service driven environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ideally CPC qualified too and a driver is essential.
