Hello! We're Teya. Teya is a payment and software service provider, headquartered in London serving small, local businesses across Europe. Founded in 2019, we build easy to use, integrated tools that enable our members to accept payments and boost business performance. At Teya we believe small, local businesses are the lifeblood of our communities. We’re here because we don’t believe there’s a level playing field that gives small businesses with a fighting chance against the giants of the high street. We’re here because we see banks and legacy service providers making things harder for them. We don’t think the best technology or the best service should be reserved for those with the biggest headquarters. We’re here to fight for a future where small, local businesses can thrive, and to commit the same dedication they offer all of us. Become a part of our story. We’re looking for exceptional talent to join our mission. We offer a chance to create impact in a high-energy and connected culture, while benefiting from continuous learning opportunities, a supportive community which is proud to serve our mission, and comprehensive benefits.
Your Mission
Teya ships hardware to merchants across nine countries. Today, our supply chain and logistics function runs as a largely traditional operation — parallel to the commercial engine rather than integrated into it. That's changing. We're hiring a leader to rebuild this function from the ground up: making it technology-led, AI-native, and tightly connected to our go-to-market platform. This is a transformation mandate. You won't be maintaining a supply chain — you'll be redesigning it.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end fulfilment model: getting hardware to merchants across every country and channel, fast and cost-efficiently.
- Rebuild the supply chain as part of the GTM platform — triggered by commercial signals and feeding data back into the central system.
- Make automation and AI agents the default operating mode, not an add-on to a manual process.
- Own unit economics of fulfilment by channel and region, balancing cost-to-serve for dispersed merchants with speed for high-value urban accounts.
- Transition the function from day-to-day execution to a scalable operating model built for Teya's continued market expansion.
Requirements
- A technical, systems-minded operator who has rebuilt an operational function — not maintained one.
- Strong track record of replacing manual processes with systems, automation, and tooling, with measurable gains in speed or cost.
- Genuine fluency with AI-native and agentic ways of working — you've used automation as a core operating tool, not observed it from a distance.
- Comfort with data and workflow design; you make decisions from numbers and build the systems that produce them.
- The instinct to connect operations into a wider platform rather than run them as a silo, and the credibility to partner across commercial, product, and platform teams.
- Strategic range: you can set an operating model from first principles, not just keep one running.
- Nice to have: experience in payments, fintech, hardware fulfilment, or multi-market / pan-European operations.
The Perks
- We trust you, so we offer flexible working hours, as long as it suits both you and your team.
- Physical and mental health support through our partnership with GymPass, giving free access to over 1,500 gyms in the UK, 1-1 therapy, meditation sessions, and digital fitness and nutrition apps.
- Our company offers extended and improved maternity and paternity leave choices, giving employees more flexibility and support.
- Cycle-to-Work Scheme.
- Health and Life Insurance.
- Pension Scheme.
- 25 days of Annual Leave (plus Bank Holidays).
- Office snacks every day.
- Friendly, comfortable, and informal office environment in Central London.
