Hello! We're Teya. Teya is a payment and software service provider, headquartered in London serving small, local businesses across Europe. Founded in 2019, we build easy to use, integrated tools that enable our members to accept payments and boost business performance. At Teya we believe small, local businesses are the lifeblood of our communities. We’re here because we don’t believe there’s a level playing field that gives small businesses with a fighting chance against the giants of the high street. We’re here because we see banks and legacy service providers making things harder for them. We don’t think the best technology or the best service should be reserved for those with the biggest headquarters. We’re here to fight for a future where small, local businesses can thrive, and to commit the same dedication they offer all of us. Become a part of our story. We’re looking for exceptional talent to join our mission.

Your Mission

We’re looking for a field-based sales professional to join Teya’s rapidly growing sales organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting new people, building relationships, and developing their career in a high-growth environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively identify and engage prospective customers within your defined territory through outreach, networking and referrals
  • Meet customers face-to-face to understand their needs, challenges and goals
  • Use effective, value-led sales approaches to win new business and achieve performance targets
  • Develop strong knowledge across Teya’s products and solutions (don’t worry — you’ll receive plenty of training)
  • Share insights from the field to help improve our products and customer experience
  • Represent Teya as a credible, professional and values-led ambassador within your territory
  • Build positive, long-term customer relationships that support growth and retention

Your Story

This role is about more than just sales. It’s an opportunity to build confidence, develop commercial skills, and create meaningful relationships with customers. We’re looking for people who bring:

  • Experience in a customer-facing or sales-related role
  • Confidence engaging with new people and building rapport
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
  • A proactive, self-driven mindset
  • Resilience and the ability to overcome objections
  • A strong willingness to learn and continuously develop
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach
  • Fluency in English
  • A full UK driving licence

This is a fully field-based sales role.

The Perks

  • Competitive basic salary plus commission, with typical on-target earnings of £50,000 in your first year
  • Company car
  • 25 days of Annual Leave + Bank Holidays
  • Physical and mental health support through our partnership with GymPass, 1-1 therapy sessions, meditation sessions and access to digital fitness and nutrition apps
  • Extended and improved maternity and paternity leave choices
  • Private Medical and Life Insurance
  • Pension Scheme
