Teya is a payment and software service provider, headquartered in London serving small, local businesses across Europe. Founded in 2019, we build easy to use, integrated tools that enable our members to accept payments and boost business performance. At Teya we believe small, local businesses are the lifeblood of our communities. We’re here because we don’t believe there’s a level playing field that gives small businesses with a fighting chance against the giants of the high street. We’re here because we see banks and legacy service providers making things harder for them. We don’t think the best technology or the best service should be reserved for those with the biggest headquarters. We’re here to fight for a future where small, local businesses can thrive, and to commit the same dedication they offer all of us.
We’re looking for exceptional talent to join our mission. We offer a chance to create impact in a high-energy and connected culture, while benefiting from continuous learning opportunities, a supportive community which is proud to serve our mission, and comprehensive benefits.
Your Mission
- As we continue to expand our operations in the UK, we’re looking for a Regional Manager to lead and scale our established Independent Sales Consultant channel in the South West.
- This is a fast-paced, high-velocity, transactional field environment made up of genuinely self-employed sales professionals operating as independent partners.
- With the support of a dedicated recruitment function, you will take responsibility for growing an existing network of around 25 Independent Sales Consultants (ISCs) to ~70, building a high-performing, sustainable regional operation while balancing rapid growth with quality, engagement, and commercial results.
- This is a hands-on leadership role with real autonomy, where success is measured by both revenue impact and the strength and maturity of the channel you build.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the growth, revenue delivery, and commercial outcomes of the Independent Sales Consultant (ISC) channel across the South West.
- Scale the region from around 25 to ~70 independent consultants in a sustainable, high-quality way.
- Partner closely with Recruitment to attract, onboard, and activate self-employed consultants operating under a partner model.
- Lead, influence, and support a commission-only, self-employed sales network of varying experience levels, without day-to-day employment-style management.
- Define clear commercial frameworks, expectations, and success criteria while respecting consultant autonomy.
- Enable consultants through field support, structured onboarding, and ongoing mentorship to support consultants at varying levels of experience.
- Maintain strong engagement and commercial delivery through coaching, data insight, and partnership-based accountability.
- Act as the voice of the field, working with Product, Marketing, and Operations to improve tools, messaging, and partner resources.
- Use data and insight to identify opportunities, remove friction, and accelerate regional growth.
- Take initiative to support the wider scaling of UK sales operations, contributing regional insight, testing improvements, and helping shape scalable ways of working.
Your Story
- You’re someone who enjoys building and scaling sales channels and leading through influence rather than hierarchy.
- You’re comfortable operating in the field, credible with sellers, and commercially sharp enough to turn complexity into repeatable results.
- Proven experience building, scaling, or leading a field-based, partner, or agent-led sales channel.
- Strong leadership capability, ideally within commission-only or self-employed sales models.
- Demonstrated success growing teams, territories, or revenue in high-velocity, highly competitive markets.
- Confident coach with experience supporting salespeople at different stages of their journey.
- Commercially minded, with a clear understanding of incentives, performance drivers, and unit economics.
- Hands-on leadership style, comfortable spending time in the field with consultants.
- Highly organised, resilient, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Willingness to travel regularly across the South West to support and develop the region.
The Perks
- We trust you, so we offer flexible working hours, as long as it suits both you and your team.
- Physical and mental health support through our partnership with GymPass, giving free access to over 1,500 gyms in the UK, 1-1 therapy, meditation sessions, digital fitness and nutrition apps.
- Our company offers extended and improved maternity and paternity leave choices, giving employees more flexibility and support.
- Cycle-to-Work Scheme.
- Health and Life Insurance.
- Pension Scheme.
- 25 days of Annual Leave (+ Bank Holidays).
- Office snacks every day.
- Friendly, comfortable and informal office environment in Central London.
