Hello! We’re Teya. Teya is a payment and software service provider, headquartered in London serving small, local businesses across Europe. Founded in 2019, we build easy to use, integrated tools that enable our members to accept payments and boost business performance. At Teya we believe small, local businesses are the lifeblood of our communities. We’re here because we don’t believe there’s a level playing field that gives small businesses with a fighting chance against the giants of the high street.
Your mission is to help small businesses say yes with confidence, while owning both your results and your earning potential. As an Inside Sales Executive, you’ll speak with business owners who have already shown interest in Teya. Your role is to understand how their business works, explore what they actually need, and guide them towards the right solution through consultative conversations. You’ll own your pipeline, your conversations, and your performance, with support when you need it. This is a high-volume, high-standards role built around clear targets, uncapped commission, and progression over time.
What will you be doing?
- Speaking with warm leads generated through digital and marketing campaigns
- Running structured, consultative sales conversations focused on understanding needs
- Asking the right questions to uncover challenges, priorities, and decision drivers
- Explaining solutions clearly and handling objections professionally
- Owning the journey from first call through to agreement and handover
- Managing your pipeline with strong CRM discipline
- Supporting early onboarding questions and identifying upsell opportunities
- Working closely with Sales and Onboarding teams
- Sharing feedback and insight to improve how we sell and support merchants
Your story
You’ll be expected to take ownership of your pipeline, balance performance with quality, and keep the customer’s needs at the centre of every conversation. To succeed in this role, we’re looking for someone with:
- Proven experience in phone-based sales roles, comfortable working towards clear activity and revenue targets
- A consultative mindset, focusing on understanding before recommending, not pushing products
- Emotional resilience and focus, able to handle rejection and maintain momentum throughout the day
- Strong listening skills and commercial judgement, adapting your approach based on each conversation
- Comfort working with autonomy, alongside clear expectations, coaching, and feedback
- Ambition to grow, motivated by a role where strong performance is recognised, rewarded, and can open doors across the business
The Perks
- On top of your basic salary, you will be able to earn uncapped commission with typical on-target earnings of £50-60,000 in your first year
- Thorough onboarding and training
- 25 days of Annual Leave + Bank Holidays
- Clearly defined career progression ladder and growth opportunities within the business
- Physical and mental health support through our partnership with GymPass, 1-1 therapy sessions, meditation sessions and access to digital fitness and nutrition apps
- Extended and improved maternity and paternity leave choices
- Private Medical and Life Insurance
- Pension Scheme
