This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate to begin their IT career within a global organisation. Working alongside the local IT team, which supports a number of international locations, the successful candidate will gain experience across a wide range of IT disciplines, including application development, business intelligence, artificial intelligence, and end-user support.
The role also provides exposure to local and global projects, offering opportunities to work with the wider Textron Specialized Vehicles and Textron Enterprise IT teams while developing both technical and professional skills in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing support for existing web applications and developing and maintaining new applications as required.
- Performing program testing and supporting users with acceptance testing as needed.
- Assisting with AI initiatives to drive adoption throughout the business, including supporting the development, testing, and deployment of AI-enabled solutions and tools.
- Assisting with business intelligence (BI) activities, including reporting and data model support across multiple source systems.
- Managing the purchase of IT equipment and software through approved channels.
- Provisioning, deploying, and supporting company mobile phones.
- Creating and distributing the monthly IT Newsletter.
- Staying current with emerging technologies and system enhancements, and making recommendations for improvements and implementation opportunities based on research and analysis.
- Performing break/fix analyses and recommending solutions for related processes.
- Working across functional and technical teams as needed to support the daily operations of the department.
- Providing first and second-line support for IT systems and applications as required.
- Maintaining technical documentation and contributing to knowledge-sharing within the IT team.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and IT-related project activities.
