QC Manager in Southampton

Contract: 18 months

Rate: Up to £325 per day

TEXO Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced QC Manager to join a major 62-unit residential development in Southampton on an 18-month contract.

The successful candidate will assist the project team in managing and recording all installations in accordance with agreed processes, specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee quality control across the residential development.
• Inspect and record installations across internal and external works.
• Ensure works are completed in line with drawings, specifications and agreed processes.
• Maintain accurate quality records and documentation to support the project's Golden Thread requirements.
• Identify defects and ensure remedial works are completed to the required standard.
• Work closely with site management, subcontractors and project teams to maintain quality.
• Utilise Bolster to record, monitor and manage quality information.
• Support the team in maintaining consistent quality standards throughout the project.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a QC Manager / Quality Manager / Site Quality role within residential construction.
• Strong experience across internal and external works.
• Previous residential construction experience is essential.
• Strong understanding of construction quality processes, inspections and defect management.
• Experience maintaining detailed quality records and documentation.Experience with Golden Thread / Building Safety documentation would be advantageous.
• Experience using Bolster or similar construction quality management software would be beneficial.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
