Smart Meter Engineer

Job Description: Texo Recruitment is seeking Smart Meter Installer’s for an exciting opportunity across the Highlands and Islands. This would be working on a rotational basis. Key Responsibilities: Install and commission smart gas and electricity meters in line with safety and industry standards. Carry out thorough pre- and post-installation safety checks and tests. Diagnose and resolve meter or communication faults, escalating issues when required. Provide clear guidance to customers on smart meter operation and energy usage. Maintain accurate installation records, meter readings, and compliance documentation. Adhere to all health, safety, and regulatory requirements while managing tools and equipment effectively. Requirements: Level 2 Diploma in Smart Metering 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification. Proven experience as an electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
