TEXO Recruitment are looking for an experienced SHEQ Advisor to join our external client based in Westhill, Aberdeenshire.
Purpose: To ensure Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (SHEQ) compliance, promoting best practices and continuous improvement across all operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and advise on SHEQ matters across the group.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
- Develop and maintain SHEQ policies, procedures, and the Integrated Management System (IMS).
- Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations, reporting findings and recommending actions.
- Lead SHEQ inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions.
- Support ISO accreditations and manage external audit processes.
- Coordinate SHEQ events, campaigns, and supplier assessments.
- Liaise with external bodies and represent the company at industry events.
Requirements:
Essential:
- NEBOSH Gen/Construction Cert, NCRQ, or NVQ Level 3 in OHS
- IOSH Technician Membership (or working towards)
- CSCS card
- UK driving licence
- SHEQ experience in construction/utilities
- Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and auditing
- Excellent communication, IT, and organisational skills
Desirable:
- ISO accreditation experience
- SMSTS (CITB)
- Quality auditing background
