TEXO Recruitment are looking for a Civils Senior Estimator to join our external client in Durham on a permanent basis. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing and delivering accurate, competitive cost estimates across a broad range of tenders, contracts, and subcontract works. You will play a key role in supporting commercial decision making and ensuring submissions are thorough, competitive and aligned with client requirements. Hybrid Working (3 days Durham office / 2 days WFH) including site visits across NE/ Yorkshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide precise and reliable cost estimates to Senior Management to support timely settlement decisions
- Compile and issue subcontractor tender packages for specialist trades within agreed deadlines
- Proactively identify potential risks and opportunities throughout the tendering process
- Deliver consistent progress updates to the estimating team
- Ensure workload is planned to meet client deadlines
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years occupational experience
- Experience with Causeway estimating packages is advantageous but not essential
- Experience preparing estimates for civil engineering projects.
