Texo Recruitment has an opportunity for a Senior/Recruitment Consultant to join the team at Texo Recruitment. We are looking for an experienced recruitment professional who is self-motivated, target driven, and has experience with agency recruitment. Texo Recruitment is based in Westhill, Aberdeen, and are proud to be part of Texo Group, founded in 2020, we are an independent recruitment firm who specialise in Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy, Infrastructure, Construction, Commercial and Welding & Fabrication sectors.

The position requires an individual who prides themselves on building long-term and trusted relationships with both our clients and our candidates. The right individual will thrive in a dynamic business where all employees have input into the company strategy.

Area(s) of Responsibility

  • Temporary, Contract and Permanent recruitment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Registering and interviewing new candidates to evaluate their skills, experience, and career goals.
  • Matching candidates to temporary/permanent opportunities and filling existing assignments.
  • Developing strong relationships with candidates through effective networking.
  • Writing accurate and engaging candidate profiles to actively promote to clients.
  • Completing relevant background checks and referencing.
  • Obtaining new clients through proactive business development.
  • Building on current relationships with existing company clients.
  • Consult with clients and guide them through the recruitment process.
  • Ensuring client management is at the forefront of all activities, maintaining a positive working relationship.
  • Conducting marketing activity to attract new candidates to register.
  • Ensuring that all data relevant to the recruitment process is accurately recorded using internal databases.
  • Searching/sourcing for candidates via direct advertising, job boards, social media, and referrals.
  • Consistently achieving personal sales targets and maximise revenue.
  • Working within the recruitment team to achieve team monthly targets.
  • Attending relevant networking and recruitment events.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Experience in a target-driven sales environment (desired).
  • Proven customer-facing experience.
  • Previous experience in a recruitment agency setting (preferred).
  • Outgoing and ambitious personality, with a desire to excel in recruitment.

The successful candidate will undertake REC (Recruitment & Employment Confederation) training, achieving a recognised qualification within the first 12 months of employment, ensuring a strong foundation for a successful recruitment career.
