TEXO have a fantastic opportunity for an NDT Inspector to join our Utilities team located in Glasgow. This role involves conducting high-quality inspections across national worksites, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Level 2 inspections on utility infrastructure.
- Perform Phased Array, Eddy Current Testing (ECT), Visual Testing (VT), and Pulsed Eddy Current (PECT) where applicable on pipelines, structures, and other assets in outdoor/countryside environments.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Work closely with clients and project teams to deliver accurate inspection reports.
- Maintain NDT equipment as needed.
- Travel to national worksites and adapt to wet, muddy, or challenging terrain.
Requirements
- Ultrasonic Inspection Level 2 (Certified & Current).
- Willingness to travel nationally and work in outdoor/rural environments.
Preferred
- Eddy Current Level 2, Visual Testing, Phased Array & Pulsed Eddy Current (PECT).
- CSCS Card, CSE (2-day Medium Risk), NWHS Blue Card (or willingness to obtain – training can be provided).
