TEXO Recruitment are currently looking for a Multi-Skilled Construction Tradesperson for one of our external clients in Middlesbrough. The Tradesperson is responsible for carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance tasks in accordance with risk assessments, safe systems of work, and company procedures.
The role supports planned maintenance schedules to ensure infrastructure is maintained to a high standard. Responsibilities include:
- Carry out planned maintenance and reactive construction works in line with safe systems of work and risk assessments.
- Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests via the Facilities Planner.
- Support the delivery of infrastructure maintenance to required standards across scheduled programmes.
- Undertake a range of construction and groundworks tasks including flagging, concreting, blockwork, drainage, curbing, brickwork, landscaping, and excavation support.
- Read, interpret, and follow drawings, specifications, manuals, and written instructions.
- Work on multiple projects such as drainage and excavation works.
- Collaborate with the Facilities team, contractors, and other stakeholders to complete works efficiently.
- Carry out additional Facilities-related duties as required.
Qualifications required:
- Relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in a related discipline.
- Full driving licence required.
- Willingness to travel between group sites.
- CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) qualification.
- Aware of building maintenance compliance requirements.
