The technician will support operations across northern sites, carrying out a wide range of electrical maintenance, fault finding, repair and general facilities maintenance activities across port buildings.

Carry out electrical repairs, installations, and planned preventative maintenance across port facilities, ensuring full compliance with current regulations and industry standards.

Undertake statutory electrical testing and inspection duties, including PAT testing and assisting with fixed wire testing where appropriately qualified.

Provide support with basic plumbing and general building services tasks, including repairs to leaks, taps, toilets, pipework, and drainage systems as required.

Inspect, test, and maintain MEP systems, with a primary focus on electrical infrastructure, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation.

Read, interpret, and work from technical drawings, schematics, manuals, and written instructions.

Support facility improvement works, refurbishments, and renovation projects as required.
