Metal Polisher

TEXO Recruitment are seeking a skilled Deburr Operative to prepare mechanical parts for final use by removing imperfections, applying finishing treatments, and securely packaging products for our external client based in Cupar Fife

Experience & Training:

• Preferred experience in deburring, finishing, or packaging within manufacturing industries such as mechanical, aerospace, automotive, electronics, and tool and die making.
• Familiarity with relevant tools and processes.
• On-the-job training available.

Responsibilities:

• Remove sharp edges and irregularities using manual and automated tools.
• Apply polishing, bead blasting, and plating to enhance durability and appearance.
• Conduct visual inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
• Securely package finished parts with appropriate materials and labelling for safe transport.
• Collaborate with the production team to maintain workflow efficiency.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Knowledge of deburring tools, finishing techniques, and packaging methods.
• Working with precision on intricate and detailed tasks while adhering to strict tolerances and deadlines.
• Driving licence is essential.
