To provide invaluable expertise, knowledge, and skills as a highly competent and experienced Field Service Engineer (FSE). This role will serve as a key point of guidance for other engineers, both on-site and within Texo HUBs, while consistently demonstrating role model behaviour which reflects the TEXO core values. The role is responsible for leading a large team on complex projects, showcasing proficiency across multiple engineering disciplines. This role also serves as a developmental stage, preparing for progression into a Senior Field Engineer role or similar opportunities as they arise.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in complex solution development and delivery of projects in a timely and safe manner.
- Ensure and promote site safety, good working practices and efficient delivery of all tasks given.
- Act as site supervisor in a leadership role delivering large scale, high complexity projects/portions of projects on behalf of SFE’s/Project Managers.
- Report back to SFE’s/Project Manager any relevant project delivery details as well as act as the client liaison.
- Identify and resolve engineering challenges that arise during projects, developing prompt, safe, and accurate solutions.
- Undertake team supervision and lead projects as necessary, demonstrating great leadership skills.
- Lead by example and promote compliance with company policies.
- Instruct, teach and lead others, actively seeking to develop other staff members.
- Use technical experience and engineering skillset to help in the daily delivery of all Texo projects.
- Deliver team toolbox talks and ensure that all correct documentation is in place.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with clients, colleagues and senior management.
- Provide technical input in meetings with clients and senior management when necessary.
- Able to carry out technical site duties and site maintenance where instructed.
- Commitment to own professional development, enhancing and improving skills and knowledge.
- Assist SFE’s and Project Managers with the costing and procurement of required materials.
- Keep ICT skills updated to ensure use of technology as required.
- Be an ambassador of the business and exhibit Texo core values in all areas of work.
