TEXO Recruitment are actively recruiting for a HSEQ Advisor on behalf of our external client within the construction industry. This vacancy is a full-time, permanent role offering an immediate start in the Aberdeenshire area. Our client is looking for an experienced HSEQ Advisor to help keep civil engineering projects safe, sustainable, and top quality. You’ll be the go-to person for health, safety, environmental, and quality matters on site, making sure teams work smart, safe, and in line with all standards and regulations, championing a positive safety culture.
Daily tasks and duties:
- Reviewing RAMS and ensuring safe planning of works
- Support risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work
- Ensure compliance with HSEQ policies, procedures, and legislation
- Conduct audits, inspections, and safety observations to catch issues before they become problems
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents—then provide actionable recommendations
- Work with clients, regulators, and subcontractors on compliance matters
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement, proactive risk management, and accountability
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HSEQ Advisor or Coordinator in construction
- Strong knowledge of UK HSEQ legislation and industry best practices
- Relevant certifications (NEBOSH)
- Excellent communication and people skills—you can influence and inspire teams
- CSCS card (or equivalent) and full UK driving licence
