TEXO Recruitment are currently looking for an Internal Site Manager to lead the delivery of a multi-rise residential fit-out project in Southampton.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of internal fit-out works, ensuring the project is completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Management
- Manage all day-to-day internal fit-out activities.
- Coordinate subcontractors across all internal trades.
- Plan and sequence works to meet programme milestones.
- Monitor productivity and drive efficiencies on site.
- Coordinate deliveries, materials and internal logistics.
- Health, Safety & Quality
- Promote a strong health and safety culture across site.
- Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations and all relevant HSE legislation.
- Deliver daily briefings and toolbox talks.
- Review and implement RAMS.
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.
- Ensure all works are completed to the required quality standards and specifications.
- Programme Delivery
- Manage internal fit-out works including drylining, ceilings, joinery, M&E coordination, decoration and final finishes.
- Coordinate multiple subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Monitor progress against programme and resolve any issues impacting delivery.
- Oversee snagging and ensure timely completion of defects.
- Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with the Project Manager, client representatives, consultants and subcontractors.
- Attend regular site progress meetings.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with all stakeholders.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate site diaries.
- Complete daily and weekly progress reports.
- Record labour, plant and material usage.
- Ensure all permits and site documentation are kept up to date.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing internal fit-out packages on multi-rise residential projects.
- Strong knowledge of sequencing internal trades.
- Experience managing multiple subcontractors.
- Excellent understanding of UK health & safety legislation.
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certification preferred.
