EXO Recruitment are sourcing on behalf of our external client, a leading provider of subsea mechanical and engineered lifting solutions, who is seeking a commercially driven Field Sales Representative to support continued growth across the UK and European markets. This role will play a key part in expanding the company’s presence within the subsea and marine operations sector by identifying new business opportunities, developing strong customer relationships, and promoting a comprehensive portfolio of specialist solutions. These include buoyancy systems, Water Weights, lift bags, back-deck equipment, mooring packages, and engineered lifting products. Acting as a trusted customer-facing representative, the successful candidate will work closely with clients to deliver technically aligned, compliant, and commercially competitive solutions that support safe and efficient marine and lifting operations. The position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to revenue growth, market expansion, and the long-term commercial success of a highly regarded business operating within the offshore and subsea industry.
Role Requirements
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across the offshore, marine, renewable energy, defense, and construction sectors.
- Support the delivery of strategic sales initiatives aligned with the company’s commercial growth objectives across the UK and Europe.
- Promote a broad portfolio of subsea and engineered mechanical solutions, including buoyancy systems, Water Weights®, lift bags, bespoke engineering services, back-deck equipment such as winches, spoolers and HPUs, as well as lifting and mooring packages.
- Proactively generate and manage a strong sales pipeline, converting opportunities into profitable long-term contracts.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing key accounts to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, repeat business, and long-term partnership growth.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with contractors, engineering consultancies, operators, and procurement teams across target markets.
- Conduct regular client meetings and site visits to understand operational requirements and provide tailored technical and commercial solutions.
- Prepare and deliver professional proposals, tenders, presentations, and product demonstrations to support business development activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum: Level 3 qualification or above (e.g., BTEC, HNC, NVQ) in Engineering, Mechanical, Marine, or related technical discipline.
Experience
- 3–5 years’ experience in technical field sales, business development, or account management.
- Exposure to offshore, subsea, renewables, lifting, marine.
