JOB TITLE: Fabrication Welder
LOCATION: Tranent, East Lothian
TEXO Recruitment are currently sourcing for Fabrication Welders for our external client based in Tranent, East Lothian. This would be on a contract basis, but this could go permanent for the right person.
Purpose of the Role:
We are looking for a time-served and experienced fabricator welder to work within our fabrication and engineering department, able to work on their own, or in small teams.
The role requires a versatile set of skills, specialising in mild steel with plate thickness from 3mm to 40mm across both repair and new projects alike.
The role involves both working from our workshops and on customer sites, often in cohesion with other tradesman from other departments and always adhering to company policies with a strong awareness of Health and Safety.
The candidate must be able to work accurately to issued drawings as well as verbal instruction.
This position is incorporated within a busy general engineering family run firm, undertaking a whole variety of interesting projects.
The successful candidate will benefit from 5 weeks holiday, pension and an hourly rate of £17.78 based on a 37 hour week. Overtime rates and hours apply.
