TEXO Recruitment are looking for an experienced Interior & Façade Technical Designer for one of our external clients in Enfield, London. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong and detail driven specialist to play a key role in delivering high quality internal design packages across complex construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical design, detailing, and coordination of internal architectural elements, including fire stopping systems and partition assemblies, with additional experience in façade systems. This role requires strong technical knowledge, multidisciplinary coordination skills, and the ability to deliver fully compliant, buildable design documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed construction drawings for fire rated partitions, compartmentation, and fire stopping systems.
- Coordinate fire, acoustic, and thermal requirements across internal and external elements.
- Review fire strategy information and incorporate it into practical, buildable details.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, façade, and fire consultants to resolve clashes.
- Review subcontractor shop drawings and technical submittals.
- Respond to RFIs and provide technical support during construction.
- Carry out site inspections to check compliance with drawings and fire requirements.
- Ensure designs meet relevant building regulations and project specifications.
- Maintain and update standard detail drawings where required.
Requirements
- Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or related discipline.
- 3-5+ years of experience in technical design roles.
- Demonstrated experience working on façade systems and external envelope detailing.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, fire regulations, and material performance standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit (BIM experience preferred).
