TEXO Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for 2/3 Crane Service Engineers to join our external client based in Teeside! As a Crane Service Engineer, you will inspect, service, maintain, and repair overhead cranes and lifting equipment both mechanically and electrically, across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, service, maintain, and repair overhead cranes and lifting equipment across various industries.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all service activities.
- Provide expert advice to customers on safety improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Work at height and in challenging environments while adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings to assist in repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with a skilled engineering team to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Travel to customer sites across different locations to carry out servicing and repairs.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and vehicles are well maintained and in good working order.
Requirements:
- Electro-mechanical training with an electrical focus.
- Time-served electrical qualification (preferred but not essential).
- Familiarity with electrical drawings.
- Ability to work at heights comfortably.
- Valid UK driving license.
- Strong customer focus.
- Keen attention to detail with a troubleshooting mindset.
- Well-organised and professional presentation.
- LEEA qualifications (beneficial but not required).
