TEXO Recruitment are seeking an experienced CNC Turner Operator to join our external client’s team based in Cupar on a contract that could turn permanent for the right individual.
Job Purpose: To program, set up, and operate CNC turning machines to produce small precision parts in accordance with specifications.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
- Precision CNC Turning – Programmer, Setter, Operator
- Experienced CNC Turners required with full expertise in CNC Turning Machining Centres, particularly NLX 2500-700 and NLX 2000-500.
- Proven ability to produce small precision parts with tolerances up to 0.005mm.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, programme, and operate CNC turning machines to produce small precision parts.
- Read blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
- Select and install cutting tools, fixtures, and tooling.
- Monitor machine operations and adjust as needed.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments.
- Perform routine machine maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace.
